Nick gave an interesting insight into the ways people in financial difficulties can be assisted to work through their particular situation. Nick works with Wagga Wagga Family Support and his services a free and privacy is always respected. Nick covered a raft of ways he is able to assist, including
Budgeting, Payment plans, negotiating with creditors, waiving of debts, early access to super funds
and bankruptcy assistance. The funding for Nicks work comes from a levee on all gambling receipts in NSW, and he is one of several counsellors in Wagga.
Nick works with many local organisations including Legal Aid, Centrelink, NSW Ombudsman,
major banks, Mission Australia and local schools.
