Our club drought relief committee is to make application for funding for the development of the web site.

Member Update - Tim Hutchings
Tim was born in Yerong creek, went to Melbourne for school and then to Armidale to complete
his study. Tim started out in the 1967 drought and was active Off the farm. He went too England
studying wheat and uses for computers on farm. He met with a farm management group and brought the idea back to Australia, where he started one of the first Farm Management groups.
This initial group of like minded farmers grew to become Farm Management 500 hich serviced
over 400 farming families with a group of 13 consultants.
Tim became a rural consultant in wagga and then Canberra, where he consulted for politicians,
was with Australian Wool Research and Development and was on the small business committee of
the Reserve Bank of Australia.
In 2008 Tim sold his farm and did a PHd in Farm Business Risk, and joined the board of
Nuffeld Australia, which sends young farmers around the world to learn and experience other farming systems.
Tim is now happily retired in Wagga.
