Following the request from Mayor Greg Conkey OAM, we provided some tables, water and biscuits for a non-denominational prayer vigil at the Victory Memorial Gardens last Thursday. The CWA turned up with slices by the thousands, so that a large number of biscuits were left over. They are now for sale at $5 per packet. Please take them off our hands. Treat it like a nice gift taking home some biscuits. The balance of the biscuits (about 25 packets) were delivered to Lilier Lodge this afternoon and much appreciated
The damaged marquees from the Showground are being looked at and repaired, where possible, by Mal Robertson and his team.

The Saturday markets have a break in January and will recommence on February 10. There is a Markets meeting on this Thursday Jan 16 at The Commercial Club. Would all market committee members please attend?

The Black Sorrows have been signed and the planning for the Food and Wine Festival seems to be in good shape under the guidance of Andrew Puckeridge
The golfers have started the New Year Navigate competition and I will give you an update each week on the state of play. As you probably know we have two teams competing.

We need an additional Bulletin Editor. We have four and would like an additional person to share the work. Please give this matter serious consideration. Peter MacKinnon has offered to help but has done so for some years and would like a break. You do not need high powered computer skills
