John Smith introduced Margorie Pagani, Chief Execitove Officer and Director of Angel Flight as Wollundry's guest speaker.  Marjorie is a practising barrister and has assisted Angel Flight  on a pro-bono basis since the inception of the charity in 2003. Marjorie took up the position of full-time CEO in eary 2015.  She was also one of the first volunteer pilots with Angel Flight.

Marjorie went on to explain that Angel Flight, Australia is a charity which coordinates non-emergency flights to assist country people to access specalist medical treatment that would otherwise be unavailable to them because of vast distance and high travel costs. It consists of volunteer pilots (abd their planes) and drivers (and their own vehicles) to make travel and keeping appointments for medical treatments.

Angel Flights helps anyone who is medically and financially disadvantaged; families who have been financially devastated by medical bills due to illness, accidents or other chronic conditions. Angel Flight receives no government help.

In Wollundry, pilots Craig Bromley, John Smith, Andrew Irvine and Geoff Hamilton are active Angel Flight pilots.
Marjorie showed an excellent video about the pilots, drivers and passengers in Angel Flight.  You can view the video by clicking on the screen below.
